16-059 - High Quality Teacher/Principal Retention

This request has been issued to allow the San Antonio Independent School District (hereafter referred to as “the District”) to obtain information for planning purposes related to solicit non-profit Educational Consulting Agencies (ECAs) for contracted support services as outlined in the Teacher Incentive Fund (TIF) grant proposal recently submitted to the U.S. Department of Education. The TIF is a five-year project with a purpose to support, develop, and implement sustainable performance-based compensation systems for teachers, principals, and other personnel in high-need schools, within the context of a school district’s overall human capital management system (HCMS), in order to increase Educator effectiveness and student achievement in those schools. The District may issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to identify a District-wide.
