This bid shall include the supply and delivery of chemicals as follows:
Liquid Alum, Liquid Alum/Copper Sulfate Blend, Liquid Chlorine, Sulfur Dioxide, Liquid Ammonium Sulfate, Liquid Ortho, Poly phosphate blend, chlorine dioxide, and liquid caustic soda. Each chemical has specific specifications that bidder must review.

All specification documents for this project may be examined and downloaded at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/texas/cityofsulphursprings Registration is required to access documents. Bids will be electronically opened at 11:15 A.M in the City Hall Council Room at 201 N. Davis St. Information concerning the bid process/procedures may be obtained by contacting Ashley Floyd, Purchasing Agent at (903) 439-3758. Written and emailed inquiries are permitted. Information concerning the bid specifications may be obtained by contacting James Jordan, Utility Director, through email at jjordan@sulphurspringstx.org. Please copy Russell Ham (rham@sulphurspringstx.org) on any technical questions. All written inquiries must be submitted no later than 2:00 P.M., August 2, 2022. Every interpretation made to a Bidder will be in the form of an Addendum issued through BidNet Direct. The City reserves the right to reject any and all submissions and to waive technicalities, to re-advertise, to proceed otherwise when the best interests of said City will be realized hereby informalities in submissions. Qualified DBE firms are encouraged to submit bids.
Bidder may bid on any one, some, or all items.
Bids will be awarded on a per item basis to the low bidder for that item. In the event of a tie, the item will be awarded to the bidder that has the most local presence to Sulphur Springs.
