Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor will provide safe and effective use of herbicide by use of an aerial drone. The locations are specifically identified in this bid package. The chemicals will be provided by the Contractor and paid by the DNR on a per acre basis once applied. A list of chemical mixes is included and will be quoted on annual basis. Provide proof of a license granted by MDARD (Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development) to apply pesticides with aerial drones with this bid package. In order to have been granted this license businesses must; meet all the business license (completed application, fee, insurance, qualified experience, and applicator certification) requirements. be in compliance with all FAA aerial requirements (Part 107, 137, exemptions, medicals). have a minimum of 5 hours of flight training with an experienced UAV pilot (can be the manufacturer or sales rep). have a safety and security and plan for in and around the UAV. have a pre-flight checklist from takeoff to landing. complete routine skills and recurrent training.
