Specifications include, but are not limited to: ▪Lander University is interested in having the interior walls of seven buildings of the Brookside Student Housing Complex. The complex consists of the following: i.Seven (07) separate, 3-story wooden framed buildings. ii.There are 20, 2-occupant living suites per building. iii.There is a central stairwell in each building. iv.The first floor has a “community space”. The overhead is open to the 3rd floor ceiling. Obtaining proximity sufficient to paint may be challenging. v.The corridors are VCT tile. vi.Lander University is providing floorplan schematics for the three respective floors for your convenience. Lander University has prepared the schematics in good faith. vii.All interested contractors should make the effort to visit the site and verify all project dimensions prior to generating a competitive bid. viii.Remediation on select gypsum board walls will be necessary due to the peeling paint. Mechanical scraping will be required. ix.South Carolina LLR requires a “Non-Structural Renovation License”, NR, to perform painting projects where the value exceeds $10,000. x.Lander University has made the following paint selections that will use Sherwin Williams ProMar 400 Satin as the base: Corridor wall color – to be determined) Corridor ceiling color - (to be determined Suite bedroom wall color – (to be determined) Suite bedroom ceiling color – (to be determined) Door Frame color – (to be determined) Stairwell Wall color - (to be determined
