Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide engineering design sets for ten (10) green infrastructure practices which can be utilized as a starting point for Texas communities to design and install green infrastructure practices. These designs will not be 100%, as there are a number of site-specific parameters that will need to be considered. These criteria should be compiled for each design set in an easy-to-use format such as a checklist or workflow document. These design sets will be a TAMU system resource and will be made publicly available through TAMU system mechanisms. Below are ten suggested design sets. Input from the Engineering Contractor will be considered, there is some ability to negotiate the final list of design sets. Suggested Design Sets: 1. Bioretention with an underdrain – could be used in various locations including edge of parking lot or roof top runoff collection 2. Parking lot median rain garden – “standard” size with curb cuts 3. Stormwater wetland outfall design #1 4. Stormwater wetland outfall design #2 5. Bioswale along rural road (Farm to Market or state highway) 6. Bioswale along residential street (single family detached homes) 7. Below ground rainwater harvesting for parking lots 8. Below ground rainwater harvesting for sidewalks 9.
