Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.2.1 Contractor must provide trash servicing and removal of daily waste/trash in all exterior waste containers located next to ASU owned buildings up to 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday. The current Agreement consists of servicing approximately 33 (2yd, 4yd and 8yd) containers, servicing of special order roll off containers. Daily trash volume is directly related to campus activities and semester schedules. 3.2.2 Contractor must provide service on a daily time schedule to be determined between ASU and the contractor. 3.2.3 Provide modern equipment and vehicles to service the campus. Maintain all containers on campus to the standards of ASU. Contractor must clean or remove and replace any containers that become contaminated with waste that causes smells or health/safety concerns. 3.2.4 Provide quick and proper cleanup of and fluid spills from trucks or containers. Contractor to provide written documentation of the cleanup event within one week of the occurrence. 3.2.5 Contractor must include in pricing proposal the cost of providing temporary moving of containers on campus approximately 10 times a year. This could be for special events i.e.: graduation, conferences, cleanup after firework events on campus. There should not be additional cost for these 10 built in moves 3.2.6 Drivers or trucks must have the capability to photo or video the service and provide these in the event of dumpster being blocked by vehicles or other situations that would cause the container to not be serviced. 3.2.7 Driver may be required to exit vehicle and unlock at a few university owned properties, specifically the ASU Lake Facility and ASU Rodeo Arena. 3.2.8 Contractor must be able to provide recycling containers with at least one sliding door in addition to flip top covers. Recycling containers must be visibly labeled and preferred to be a different color than the normal waste container. 3.2.9 At beginning of agreement, Contractor must disconnect, disassemble (if necessary), and haul off (2) trash compactors currently on campus. One located on Van Buren St. near Vanderventer Ave, at Plaza Verde Residence Halls. One located on Van Buren Street near Texan Hall. Both compactors are operational but have not been used since 2019. 3.2.10 Repair of any damage to ASU property that is caused by this contract. 3.2.11 Contractor shall appoint one specially designated representative who will have primary responsibility and authority for ASU’s accounts. 3.2.12 Contractor, its representatives, and employees shall comply with all ASU policies and regulations.
