Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor will help the CDFC sell the right to use Registration Numbers. The Contractor will develop advertising and marketing materials promoting the sales of Registration Numbers and historic backgrounds. The Contractor will develop and implement a plan for public education, advertising/promotion and outreach activities for Registration Numbers and backgrounds to raise public awareness and generate and increase sales. The Contractor will attend automotive events, trade shows, and other gatherings to educate and promote the sales of Registration Numbers and historic backgrounds. The Contractor will organize special events including live Registration Number auctions. The Contractor is charged with studying the market to determine what Registration Numbers are likely to be valuable. The Contractor will recommend valuable Registration Numbers to request the Division of Motor Vehicles reserve for CDFC. The Contractor will suggest valuable Registration Numbers for the CDFC to put up for sale either for a fixed price or by auction. The CDFC also has the right to historically issued backgrounds, as allowed by statute (42-3-206.5, C.R.S.). The contractor will make recommendations for additional historic backgrounds, or other currently statutorily allowable options, the committee should pursue to raise revenue. The Contractor will recommend additional revenue sources for CDFC including additional historic license plate backgrounds.
