Specifications include, but are not limited to: i. Contractor shall furnish all machinery and equipment necessary to complete the requested scope of work. Contractor shall provide enough pneumatic rollers or flat rollers to properly set aggregate to maintain keeping up with chip spreader. ii. Contractor must provide all necessary traffic control devices as specified in the Texas Department of Transportation’s MUTCD. Contractor shall also be responsible for providing all necessary personnel for traffic control. iii. All materials are to meet or exceed TxDOT Texas Standard Specifications of 2014. Waller County and its representatives reserve the right to periodical testing of any and all material. No modified aggregates may be used. All aggregate to be clean washed. Contractor will be required to supply designated County Representatives with all delivery tickets for each location and road, which shall include all oil and aggregates. 1. *Nb: The County reserves the right to alter rate of application of tack oil and aggregates, as necessary. iv. Contractor shall be responsible for acquiring all necessary stockpile sites needed for intended projects. It is imperative all stockpile sites be cleaned and any remaining aggregate be promptly removed. v. Waller County will replace any and all traffic control devices damaged during seal coating (e.g., stop signs, bridge markers); however, it reserves the right to deduct the replacement cost, per traffic device, from Contractor’s invoice. vi. The Contractor shall notify the Road Superintendent for an inspection of the completed site and the Road Superintendent will inspect and approve completed work.
