Specifications include, but are not limited to: CREDIT RECOVERY COURSES 3.1.1.1 Credit recovery courses must be made for a minimum of all West Virginia required courses in grades 9-12. A complete list of the credit recovery courses provided must be included with bid or upon request prior to award. 3.1.1.2 Credit recovery courses must align with West Virginia College and Career-Readiness Standards; this includes any and all modifications of existing courses. A list of available courses must be provided with bid. Credit recovery courses must be made available prior to and during the bid and contract period for review by West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) staff to ensure alignment. 3.1.1.3 Credit recovery courses must be taught by a certified educator but does not require the educator hold a West Virginia teaching certification. 3.1.1.4 Credit recovery courses must be made available for enrollment at any time during the academic school year or summer sessions. 3.1.1.5 Credit recovery courses must offer locked (password protected) exams. 3.1.1.6 Credit recovery course must be available in large print, text to voice and preferably have a translation tool for other languages.
