Specifications include, but are not limited to: Priority #1: Demolish and Removal of the Front Porch Addition/Overhang. The Front Porch Addition/Overhang shall be demolished, and all trash properly disposed. The Addition/Overhang is not tied into the main roof structure of the residence and is deteriorated to the extent that removal of the Front Porch Addition/Overhang is necessary for the safety of the residing occupants. The Contractor shall Demolish the Front Porch Addition and properly dispose of all trash. The Contractor shall Also Remove all Electrical Connections from the Main Structure of the residence to the Front Porch Addition/Overhang. (ELECTRICAL WILL BE COVER IN A DIFFERENT LINE ITEM, THIS BID WILL BE SOLELY FOR THE DEMOLISHION OF THE FRONT PORCH ADDITION/OVERHANG. ELECTRICAL REMOVAL IS MENTIONED JUST TO ENSURE THE CONTRACTOR IS AWARE OF THE ELECTRICAL WORK NEEDED.) The Front Porch Addition/Overhang is not tied into the Main Structure it is laid and nailed in over the pre-existing roofing and roof line. The Contractor shall take the necessary safety measures and erect or add temporary barrier as a protective shield for the Neighboring Properties to minimize any possible damage from occurring. The Contractor shall remove all support post and ensure there are no objects sticking out of the concrete (Concrete Screws, Nails, or Rebar) that could be a potential trip hazard to the residing occupants.
