Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Gunshot Location and Detection System o Utilization of a sensor network to provide gunshot detection and location coverage for the coverage area shown above o System outputs must produce the precise time, location, and audio snippet associated with impulsive noise that may represent a gunshot o Viewable mapping identification allowing for geolocation of gunfire and explosive events o Incident alerts from the acoustic sensors provided directly to the Braintree Police Department’s desired endpoints o Complete turnkey workstations for Braintree Police Communications (“Communications”) or any successor unit/department o Integration with the Braintree Police Department’s (the “Department”) and Town of Braintree’s existing critical infrastructure, monitoring systems, future camera systems, and RMS/CAD systems • Mobile Capabilities o Mobile software for Patrol and other units o Integration-capable system (i.e. iOS, Android, etc.) • Management System Software to Support Operations o Direct Reporting to the Department’s Communications Center and mobile units (i.e. Patrol) which includes the precise time, location and audio snippet associated with impulsive noise that is likely to represent a gunshot o Viewable mapping software or integration with Google Maps or other standard mapping platform o Audio playback capability o Ability to generate statistical reports of incidents o Viewable sound wave pattern screen at workstations o Ability to detect gunshots in the specified coverage area o Ability to send all alerts, including fireworks o Ability to show all impulsive noise system activations, whether detected as a gunshot or not • Onsite training • Unlimited phone support • Ability to provide expert witness testimony if necessary • Service, Warranty & Maintenance o 24/7/365 emergency phone number for critical incidents with on-site response when required o Workday hours support for non-critical support issues o Remote online monitoring of sensors and system by vendor o Maximum of 24 hour response for non-critical system components on weekdays o Minimum of (1) year warranty upon completion o Ability to provide a list of recommended spare parts to include quantity and unit prices o Warranty for all equipment and software installation work for a minimum of (1) year after system acceptance which shall include all parts, labor and travel necessary to return the equipment to its original working condition o Automated notification to the Department via text or email in the event of a sensor outage within (15) minutes • System hardware • System software (to include upgrades and updates) • Vendor will: o Work at the programmatic direction of the Official or his/her designee and under the administrative and financial direction of the Department o Collaborate with BELD IT and any necessary vendor of the Town to establish and support the gunshot detection and location services system o Provide the most cost-effective solution to the Department, provided that such solution meets the minimum requirements listed above. Specific requirements and services to be completed include, but are not limited to: Technical consulting including network infrastructure, equipment, software installation, training, and maintenance Network engineering in support of the Gunshot Detection & Location System Network operations support to include fault resolution assistance and network administration function performance Furnishing certain necessary equipment, hardware and procedures to directly support the Gunshot Detection & Location System Managing the security design and implementation, ensuring various technical standards, configuring device setup and providing other configuration services and training o Comply with the Town’s insurance requirements
