Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County is seeking architectural design services for an interior renovation project at the Wood County Common Pleas Court #1 Administrative Office Area. The renovations will include 1.) removal of an interior wall creating a waiting room, removal of closet in hallway to judges’ chambers and opening to closet with west entrance, removal of door and wall creating a kitchenette for staff and removal of door to hallway leading to judge’s chambers; 2.) placement of beam to replace interior wall; 3.) demolition of old cast iron drains and installation of new PVC drainpipe; 4.) demolition of two old air handlers and pneumatic control valves for judge’s chambers and support staff area and install one new air handler; 5.) demolition of old pipe insulation with install of new pipe insulation to accommodate new air handler location; 6.) installation of new ceiling panels to include grid, tile, LED lights, and return air vents for the HVAC system; 7.) reconfiguration of all lighting in the main office, storage, sitting, and new office areas; 8.) reconfiguration of all electric to include phone jacks and cable drops for computers and printers; 9.) installation of new ADA bathroom door; 10.) painting (to include trim and shutters); 11.) installation of new carpet for the entire office, including judges’ chambers; 12.) construction of a new wall on the west side of the newly opened closet area accessed through the hallway to judges’ chambers; 13.) installation of new cabinets in the new closet area and kitchenette; and 14.) construction of a storage room for evidence in maintenance closet next to the office accessible only to the court reporter. The work will require interior design, electrical, mechanical and interior HVAC ductwork modifications. Along with the preparation of drawings, the County desires assistance with bid documents, the bidding process, and project management.
