Specifications include, but are not limited to: Grandstand Main Stage (House and Monitor Requirements): The contractor shall supply the following for the Grandstand Stage: Front of House (FOH) Console – one (1) 48- or 52-channel console with VCA, sub-groups, parametric equalizer, mute groups and two (2) power supplies. One (1) Avid Profile with Mix rack and computer controlled Sonicue controller. The contractor must provide any of the following acceptable brands of FOH console: Midas XL4 and Yamaha PM 3500; consoles that shall not be acceptable are Peavey, Soundtracks, Audioarts, Mackie, and DDA. FOH Control – an EV iris network with “laps” computer control to precisely aim the speakers for a 3 decibel plus or minus coverage of the seating area. FOH FX – One (1) Lexicon PCM81 FX processor, one (1) Lexicon PCM90 digital reverb, one (1) Lexicon PCM70 digital rever, one (1) TC D2 digital delay. FOH Inserts – Sixteen (16) DBX 160A compressors, two (2) BSS DPR504 4-channel gates. FOH Playback – One (1) Denon DN-T620 cd/cassette, one (1) DAT, and one (1) Tascam CD player. FOH Cabinets – Thirty (30) EV XLC 127 DX Line Array Cabinets and twenty-four (24) EAW sb 1,000 sub-cabinets along with four (4) EAW KF 400 cabinets for front fills to provide even coverage for track seats, OR Thirty (30) EV X-Line Advanced X2212/120 line array boxes, fifteen (15) per side. Twenty-four (24) EV X-Line Advanced X12/128 subs, twelve (12) per side. Four (4) EV XLD 281 for front fills. FOH Amplifiers – Twelve (12) amplifiers to power subs at no less than a 4-phm load and fifteen (15) EVTG7 amps with RCM 26 processors to power XLC 127 DVX line array cabinets. Sixteen (16) Dynacord TGX20 amplifiers controlled by Sonicue. The contractor must provide any of the following acceptable brands of FOH amplifiers: Cyberlogic, Crown, D&B, Audiotechnik. Communications – One (1) Clear Com System. One (1) station of Clear Com from FOH to monitor (MON). Rigging – All rigging and fly hardware for system to be flown. Monitor Console – One (1) 48- or 52-channel console with two power supplies and one (1) Avid SC48 console. The contractor must provide any of the following acceptable brands of monitor console: Yamaha PM4000M or Midas H3000. Monitor Control – Eight (8) BSS FCS960 graphic equalizers. Monitor FX – One (1) Yamaha SPX9011 FX processor. Monitor Inserts – Two (2) Presonus ACP88 8CH processor and two (2) BXX DPR504 4CH gate. Monitor Cabinets – Twenty (20) D&B Series II Audiotechnik, four (4) D&B c4 top cabinets, four (4) D&B c4 sub-cabinets, two (2) D&B B2 sub-cabinets. Monitor Wedges – Twelve (12) EV Xw12A wedges. Monitor Amplifiers – Two (2) eight-way monitor rack D&B, three (3) D&B P1200A mainframe, two (2) D&B A1 mainframe, and twelve (12) EV TG-7 amps with RCM26 cards for processing. Cabling, microphones, stands, power – One (1) 56-channel snake with returns 300 feet, to be run in conduit at track, one (1) 56-channel splitter, six (6) 16-channel sub-snakes, fifty (50) professional microphones, sixteen (16) DI’s, fifty (50) microphone stands mixed tall boom straight and short booms, one hundred (100) microphone cables. One (1) 56-channel 150’ W4 Whirlwind snake with splitter box, one (1) 56-channle splitter box, various sub-snakes and mic stands as needed. Eight (8) UHF-R wireless handhelds with SM58. Mic cable band power etc. to complete system operation. The contractor must provide any of the following acceptable brands of microphone: Shure and Sennheiser. Power Distribution – AC distribution for sound system, stage and flying. One (1) single phase power distribution with cam and mini-cam outs. All electric cabling necessary for band equipment. FOH On-Site Backup Consoles – One (1) Yamaha PMSD for additional console spare FOH or MON. The speaker stacks shall be placed and arranged to provide equal sound level to each grandstand and track seat as indicated by a sound level meter. A qualified audio engineer for all performances must operate the sound system from the grandstand location. There must be no deviation of location or operation of the sound-mixing console. The contractor must provide all protective covers for sound equipment for any inclement weather.
