The Office of Administration’s Division of Facilities Management, Design & Construction (FMDC) requires a replacement of their existing Johnson Controls’ P2000 security management system that has reached end of life for support by the manufacturer, which has resulted in significant risk to the state with system failures thereby necessitating immediate replacement to protect state property from damage and to prevent serious disruption in state services. Under contracts awarded under Chapter 8 RSMo authority for construction of the new high-technology, multi-agency laboratory campus and for the renovation of the Jefferson State Office Building, the Gallagher security management system software and hardware will be installed in the two facilities and will include command center-based functionality that includes people management, site management, building management, and business management while having direct compatibility with other state facility infrastructure systems. In order to effectively manage the state’s enterprise level security and facility level needs, FMDC needs to leverage the same Gallagher technology (including software licensing, readers and associated ancillary items, replacement parts, labor, and training) in which the state is investing for these two facilities for the state’s other facilities with badging needs to unify all state facilities under one security management system. While Gallagher has multiple channel patterns, Gallagher identified Kenton Brothers as the only source for the State of Missouri to acquire Gallagher solutions to address the state’s enterprise needs for critical state assets. Kenton Brothers are the only Missouri Gallagher channel partner positioned with Level Three Gallagher training to address FMDC’s needs for a vendor with both Missouri presence and the highest possible level of training and manufacturer authorization to manipulate systems to address state building-specific needs. Gallagher Security has designated Kenton Brothers as the exclusive authorized channel partner for selling and maintaining solutions to the State of Missouri.
