Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected vendor will assist the Office of Public School Monitoring (PSM) on two projects aimed at evaluating, defining, and expanding the reach and effectiveness of student and family outreach and engagement throughout the monitoring review process. The projects are Stakeholder Focus Groups and the Special Education Parent Survey. The vendor will evaluate the effectiveness of the procedures for the two projects using diverse stakeholder feedback. The vendor will create a written report that identifies any barriers to participation and ways to improve the quality of the procedures. The vendor’s work should consider, but not be limited to, PSM’s methods for student and family outreach and engagement. The vendor’s plan must include: A variety of avenues for gathering feedback from diverse participants (race, culture, language, gender identity, economic status, sexual orientation, family composition, religion, housing status, disability, and national origin) in each process; and A method for collecting and reporting participant data and feedback to PSM. The vendor’s plan must include the following activities: Developing and issuing a questionnaire designed to solicit responses from racially, culturally, and linguistically diverse participants with various levels of knowledge and experience within public schools and special education. The questionnaire will include feedback specific to the Stakeholder Focus Groups procedures and the Special Education Parent Survey to evaluate process and solidify future PSM outreach and engagement.
