Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The period of the contract is for The College of New Jersey’s fiscal year (July 1 through June 31). This contract will start in July 1, 2024 through June 31, 2025, with the option to renew for a maximum of four years. 2. Package, label, transport and dispose of waste in strict accordance with all applicable regulations established by USEPA, NJDEP, USDOT, and all state and local regulations. 3. All waste will be sorted, segregated and packaged in compatible groups and where possible, consolidated. 4. Properly complete and process all uniform hazardous waste manifests in accordance with federal, state and local requirements to ensure “cradle to grave” tracking of generators waste (paper and/or electronic as NJDEP required). 5. Procurement of fully permitted and insured transporter to deliver packaged waste to an approved facility. Copies of transporter’s approval and insurance will be supplied to The College prior to transport of materials. 6. All TSDF used for The College will be fully permitted for waste acceptance. 7. All technicians performing waste disposal must be fully trained and certified on OSHA hazardous waste operations procedures and DOT required training. 8. Provide 24 hour emergency response capabilities for any emergency involving any hazardous material. 9. Successful contractors must provide proof of DOT driver certification to The College. 10. Provide all materials for disposal to include drums, vermiculite, labels, manifests, etc. 11. Prioritize treatment to include recycling, incineration, water treatment and fuel blending as a disposal technology over the landfill option. No deep-well injection is permitted for disposal. 12. Provide The College of New Jersey with a calendar year annual summary of wastes shipped, due no later than January 15th of each year. – Each calendar year and each pick up provide a year end and/or year to date total of pounds of waste being disposed of and recycled. 13. Provide The College of New Jersey with site Health and Safety Plans at no charge. 14. Provide review of all disposal facilities to include copies of their insurance coverage and permits. 15.
