Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Work with project team and the Steering Committee to develop the evaluation strategies. 2. Following the approved evaluation plan in the grant application, conduct annual evaluations to validate progress toward achievement of project objectives and to determine answers to the evaluation questions listed in the proposal. 3. Prepare reporting on goals and outcomes as specified in US DOE Title V grant documentation including both qualitative and quantitative components. 4. Working with Project Director, Institutional Research, and the grants office develop baseline and performance data to be collected, and information, data, and documents to be provided to consultant by the institution. 5. Advise upon the formation of, and liaise with, a Title V Internal Evaluation Team; participate in meetings quarterly (or more frequently if needed). 6. Review project documentation and liaise with grants office to advise project team on institutional and Federal grant compliance. 7. Design and implement evaluation tools (such as student/faculty-staff surveys, interviews) as required by the evaluation plan. 8. Obtain and review data from Middlesex College instruments (e.g., course evaluations, student/faculty climate surveys, etc.) when relevant. 9. Edit and advise on correspondence with US DOE, especially if changes to Objectives, budget, or timeline are requested. 10. Perform one to two site visits to client to examine program documents and data forecasted. If travel restrictions occur, alternative meeting formats will be determined.
