Specifications include, but are not limited to: Project A –Between Aurora St. & Euclid St from W. Platte Ave. to W. 7th Ave., 820-feet of 8” Sewer Main: a. Through two separate installs within the same run, reline approximately 820-feet of 8” clay sanitary sewer main approximately 9-10’ deep with a fiberglass ultraviolet cured-in-place pipe lining with minimal reduction of the inside diameter. Preparation of the pipeline will be done prior to lining including cleaning, removal of foreign material, root cutting and any grinding of intruding taps or joint offsets to reinstate as much of the inside diameter as possible without damage to the pipe structure. b. Reinstate twenty-three existing 4”-6” sanitary sewer service connections to the main among the installs. Any visibly capped taps shall not be reinstated. c. A pre and post inspection will be required to verify a proper seal of the liner installed in the sewer main. d. All repairs will need to be made trenchless, as the existing lines are located in areas with limited to no access for excavation. e. Temporary sewer service/bypass shall be provided to residential homes and businesses during construction as needed, potentially including the acquisition and implementation of portable restrooms. Proposed procedures for providing temporary service to all affected customers, and proposed notification procedures for shutdowns, conversions to/from temporary sewer service, and emergencies must be included as part of this submittal
