Specifications include, but are not limited to: The CONTRACTOR shall provide comprehensive inmate behavioral healthcare services to the inmates of the Eddy County Detention Center. This will include comprehensive services of a licensed Nurse Practitioner providing up to six (6) hours a week of medication management. Prefer a minimum of a monthly visit to Eddy County Detention Center for face to face visits with detainees. Medication management will consist of approximately thirty (30) minutes at time of initial appointment with inmate and fifteen to twenty (15-20) minutes maintenance thereafter, as needed. This Scope of Work consists of the Nurse Practitioners being able to provide plans that meet all federal, state and local requirements, as well as commonly accepted industry standards and expectations, in the most effective manner possible. These industry standards include, but are not limited to, the National Commission on Correctional Healthcare standards and standards as defined by New Mexico Counties Standards. Additionally, after hours work may be necessary for Mental Health Services and Medication management regarding behavioral health crisis’ including suicidal threats or behavior and/or upon assignment to a special needs status in accordance with national standards.
