Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purchase of a state-of-the-art Computer Aided Dispatch and Mobile Communications System. The County is seeking a single Respondent who can provide a non-proprietary, off the shelf, fully integrated turnkey system, along with its installation, support, and maintenance, perpetual and non-exclusive software licenses, upgrades, and annual service and maintenance to the proposed system(s). The Respondent shall provide a comprehensive software solution that addresses the needs of a system operating in a multi-agency, multijurisdictional and remote locations environment. The specified systems will be implemented as follows: Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) will be installed in the 911 Emergency Communications Center. CAD application and CAD main database servers will be installed at the 911 Emergency Communications Center. Fail-over servers will reside in an alternate location, preferably at the Airport Backup Center, located at 400 Freight Building Road in Rochester. The CAD Mobile Data client will be installed at all field (Fire Stations, Police Stations, EMS Stations etc.) locations. The CAD Mobile Data client will be installed in all first responder vehicles.
