Specifications include, but are not limited to: Canine Brucellosis Antibody Test Kits Kit must be a USDA approved Kit must presumptively diagnose an animal infected Brucella canis by detecting the specific antibodies for B. canis that are formed one (1) to four (4) weeks after infection Kit must contain all reagents and materials needed to perform the test including the positive control. If the kit has a screening and verification process, both screening and verification reagents must be included in the kit. One kit, at a minimum, must be able to test 25 samples. The kit expiration date must be at least six (6) months from the date received by the state agency and must include instructions with each kit. The kit must produce test results which can be read and interpreted visually.
