2017-800-0327 - D49 Audio/Intercom Systems

District 49 will be replacing outdated systems in 5 schools.  Locations and Scopes include:

Falcon High School: Auditorium sound upgrade

Falcon Elementary:  New Intercom/bell system  Provide bid for 60 new IP speakers and new head end system.  Provide option to use existing speakers with gateways that will convert all to IP.  Include system survey to confirm all call buttons and speakers are working.  
Falcon Middle School:  Gym and Commons sound systems

Evans Elementary:  New Intercom speakers Provide bid for 60 new IP speakers.  Provide option to use existing speakers with gateways that will convert all to IP.   Include system survey to confirm all call buttons and speakers are working.  

Stetson Elementary:  Gym sound system and speakers

Sand Creek HS:  Auditorium sound system, new intercom system  Provide bid for 130 new IP speakers and new head end system.  Provide option to use existing speakers with gateways that will convert all to IP.  Include system survey to confirm all call buttons and speakers are working.  

Remington Elementary:  New intercom system and speakers  Provide bid for 60 new IP speakers and new head end system.  Provide option to use existing speakers with gateways that will convert all to IP.  Include system survey to confirm all call buttons and speakers are working.  

Springs Ranch Elementary:  New intercom system and speakers  Provide bid for 60 new IP speakers and new head end system.  Provide option to use existing speakers with gateways that will convert all to IP.  Include system survey to confirm all call buttons and speakers are working.  

Valcom is our preferred manufacturer but other similar systems are acceptable if price and value are an advantage.  The new system must be IP and have intercom and bell capability.  All schools will require the same amount of zones they currently have--this can be confirmed after award.  

This award will be given to the company that has the best price at the best value (not necessarily the lowest price).  Preference will be given to those vendors who have done previous work with K12 in Colorado Springs and Colorado.  Preference will also be given to vendors who have a local office.
