The BOCES request proposals from qualified individuals and actuarial firms interested in providing actuarial services for the purpose of determining the obligation for post-employment benefits for compliance with GASB Statement No. 45.
In addition to providing services for the purpose of determining the obligation for post-employment benefits for compliance with GASB Statement No. 45, please provide us with pricing to perform such services in compliance with GASB Statement No. 75 and whether there is a savings to do this now or there is a cost savings to perform the services for compliance with Statement No. 45 and then the following year Statement No. 75 based upon the current census data. Vendor shall indicate determination and provide pricing for both options.
