NOTICE OF SOLICITATION OF GENERAL CONTRACTORS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE RYE TOWN PARK, RYE BEACH MAIN TICKET BOOTH
RYE, NEW YORK 10580

Sealed bids for the construction of the Rye Town Park, Rye Beach Main Ticket Booth will be received until 12:00 PM on April 9, 2021, at the Office of the Rye Town Clerk, 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester, New York, 10573, at which time and place said sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bid opening will take place via Zoom virtual meeting, which can be accessed online at https://www.townofryeny.com. In order to attend the bid opening please email HVespia@TownofRyeNY.com. Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Bidding and Contract Documents. Bidders must have a minimum of 5 years successful experience in completion of similar projects.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond each for 100% of the amount of the Contract. This is a prevailing wage project. The anticipated start date for construction of this project is May1, 2021.

Funding for this project comes in part through a State Municipal Facilities Program (“SAM”) grant administered by the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY). Under Article 15A, Executive Law, the State of New York is committed to providing Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE) equal opportunity to participate in government contracts. Thus the following goals have been set for this Project: 25% of the contract value for MBE’s and 10% of the contract value for WBE’s. All bidders are required to submit, with their bids, their M/WBE Utilization Plan and an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Policy Statement.
Bid Documents will be available on March 25, 2021. A hard copy or digital copy of the bid package may be obtained at www.bidset.com/dolph for the non- refundable sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00). A digital copy of the bid package may also be obtained free of charge at the Town of Rye’s website: https://www.townofryeny.com.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will not be a mandatory pre-bid walk through of the project site. The site is publicly accessible and can be visited at any time.
