PWC-DFW-2017-01 & 02 - Beekman Elementary School Water Line Installation

General Construction Work generally consists of:
Installation of an 8” wet tap with a valve in the existing PVC water main to provide water to the new 8” DI water main.
Installation of approximately 1,473 linear feet of 8" DI water main with an 8” hydrant at the end of the line.
All excavation, backfill, site restoration, etc. to restore the site back to pre-construction condition.
Plumbing Construction Work generally consists of:
Installation of approximately 64 linear feet of 2” copper to an above ground hot box which will house the flow meter and a 2" RPZ. The Hot Box will have 120V of power run from the new electrical service to maintain the temperature in the hotbox.
Installation of approximately 580 linear feet of 2" polyethylene pipe rated at 250 PSI which will extend to the existing utility room which will be tied into the internal plumbing of the school.
All excavation, backfill, site restoration, etc. to restore the site back to pre-construction condition.
Installation of a 150 amp electrical service underground from an existing utility pole to a new pedestal
mounted meter/panel box that will be located approximately 25 lineal feet from the utility pole and will extend underground approximately 200 lineal feet to the hot box.
