The Scarsdale Board of Education is requesting bids to provide ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE & INSTALLATION and REPAIR SERVICES for various school owned properties and buildings. The successful contractor will be expected to provide scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and new installations to electric wiring, equipment and technology wiring as deemed necessary by the Director of Plant Facilities.
Work shall include any work described or referred to in the current National Electric Code, and usually performed by a licensed electrician. In addition, the contractor shall perform other wiring work as required such as coax cable, car counting loops, telephone lines, computer wiring, security alarm and fire system maintenance or repair, closed circuit television, or other systems that may arise during the course of this contract. Also, the contractor shall provide, when asked, a qualified fire alarm technician in addition to the above work.
