Description

The District desires to provide its student-athletes with access to and advice from a National Athletic Trainers Association (“NATA”) certified athletic trainer and provide its coaches with ongoing coaching education and its student athletes with the most up-to-date information on sports nutrition, ethics and character building, and overall athletic development.

Provide one (1) full-time New York State, NATA certified athletic trainer. This trainer shall be responsible for all interscholastic activities Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 8:00pm. In addition, the trainer shall be available for the athletic programs’ Saturday schedules. Hours during any season will not exceed forty (40) hours per week; however, all events will be covered to completion. Daily athletic training hours will be available Monday through Saturday throughout the athletic seasons, as directed by the District’s Athletic Director.
