The purpose of this project is to design a new LG VRF heat recovery system for the Friend of the Court building owned by the County of Hillsdale. Scope of work for this project includes:
#1- Cost to design system and create blue prints
#2- Create Bid specs to go to Bid
#3- ability to be connected with current off site controls
The building is a 3,429 square food block building on two floors (6,858 total square feet).

If you are interested in submitting a bid, it should be delivered in a sealed envelope to:

All bids received by the deadline date and time shall be reviewed by County staff and submitted to the Board of County Commissioners. County Commissioners will select the engineering firm and a contract will be executed between Hillsdale County and the winning firm.

You are reminded to bid only on those items designated. In the event the owner should request additional work or deletion of any work from the write up, or should you feel additional work is required, list those items on a separate piece of paper or letterhead stationery. All additional items will be considered separately from the base bid and consideration or any change will be negotiated with the owner after bid opening.

Hillsdale County Commissioners have the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids, to award the contract to other than the low bidder, and to waive any informality in bidding. Successful bidder, if any, and any subs will be required to furnish a proof of liability insurance and workman’s compensation insurance. Preference will be made to Michigan based businesses. Upon selection of the winning contractor, the County will send a bid award notice to the selected firm.
