Emergency services: As there may be instances where emergency/rush repair/replacement services will be required, the City desires the Contractor(s) to have the capacity and capability to provide emergency service, available on a 24-hour basis, with after-hours and holiday contact available. If offered, emergency services shall be provided and completed as per the emergency rates proposed herein.

Vacuum excavation services, on a job-order processing basis, from local (defined as companies not more than a 1-hour drive from downtown Grand Rapids), qualified and experienced Contractor employing pressurized water and vacuum systems capable of moving large amounts of earth even through frost without rupturing cables or piping as requested by the City Project Manager.
