This project is funded by the Environmental Protection Agency through a Great Lakes Restoration Initiative Grant. The project work generally consists of habitat improvements at two lakes: Phoenix Lake in Plymouth and Northville townships, Michigan and Wilcox Lake in Plymouth Township and City of Plymouth, Michigan and includes dredging, installation of aquatic habitat structures and substrate, invasive species management, vegetation installation, 2-year vegetation maintenance, and vegetation warranty.

We will meet near the project work location, which can be accessed by entering the parking area south off of Edward N. Hines Drive. After meeting at Wilcox Lake, we can visit Phoenix Lake, which is a short drive from Wilcox Lake. We will reconvene on Phoenix Circle Drive in Northville Twp, Michigan. Starting from Wilcox Lake Recreation Area, head west on Edward N. Hines Drive. Turn left (north) on Northville Road and continue for 1 mile. Turn right (east) onto Phoenix Circle Drive and park anywhere along the parking loop. We will meet on the grass overlooking the lake.
