Description

The Town of Snowmass Village (TOSV) is undertaking a significant project to establish a middle mile network of fiber optic cable, connecting TOSV facilities and anchor institutions. This network will not only improve connectivity within the Town but also pave the way for the future implementation of a small cell 5G cellular network. Phase 1 of the project focuses on connecting essential facilities, including Townhall, Public Works, and the Rec Center, with a connection to the regional network at the Brush Creek Road Park and Ride lot. Phase 2 will continue the work of phase 1 by connecting onto the network the housing department, transportation department, and facilities boiler rooms.
