Description

The City of Durango is requesting bids to provide short-term rental monitoring services. Our vacation rental ordinances require all short-term rentals in the City Limits to be permitted, active, and to report sales and lodger’s taxes, in addition to other standard requirements. The City would like to use a monitoring service to ensure that permitted vacation rentals are operating within stated permit conditions and also to bring unpermitted vacation rentals into compliance. Monitoring services should be web-based and have a proven ability to identify unique addresses for properties where short term rentals are offered. This information will be used to bring eligible property owners into compliance with the City’s short-term rental regulations and more effectively terminate illegal short-term rental activity.
