3031-20 - Lease Purchase Financing

The District is seeking proposals from direct lenders as further described in this RFP. Interested
lenders should submit proposals directly to the District; proposals from brokers or agents may be
rejected by the District. Information on the District’s finances and financial obligations can be found at

Amount & Description: The District expects to finance up to $10,000,000 under the 2020 Lease Purchase Agreement (the “2020 Lease”). The 2020 Lease will not be registered with either DTC or CUSIP. No official statement or other disclosure document will be prepared by the District, and the District will not provide a credit rating.

Purpose: The District plans to use up to $10 million from the 2020 Lease, along with other funding sources, to construct the first phase of a new 6th through 12th grade facility to be used by a new charter school that was approved by the Board of Education on June 20, 2017. Construction on the facility has already begun and the school is expected to be fully constructed and operational by August 2020.
