Description

In accordance with Article 5.3 of the Garfield County Procurement Code (“GCPC”), Garfield County is soliciting competitive sealed Proposals from qualified Design/Build Firms to design and construct the following County Fairgrounds facility improvements:

Addition of an energy efficient HVAC system to include zoning and mechanical ventilation.
Analysis of existing facility for recommendations to improve insulation, lighting and lighting controls, and air infiltration.
Addition of a natural gas generator to ensure complete operations during power outages.

MANDATORY SITE VISIT. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit shall be held on Tuesday, January 31, at 10:00 A.M. at the Garfield County Fairgrounds, located at 1001 Railroad Ave., Rifle, CO 81650. The purpose of this conference / site visit is to give prospective offerors a forum to meet with and ask questions of Garfield County personnel to help prepare their respective proposals. Failure to attend this meeting will be deemed as non-responsive and result in respective proposals not being accepted.
