A professor from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Colorado State University intends to upgrade an existing Zeiss LSM 880 laser scanning confocal microscope with equipment to perform Digital Frequency Domain Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging (DFD-FLIM) and, secondarily, fluorescence fluctuation spectroscopy (FFS) experiments. Therefore, an LM210 FFS/FLIM (FastFLIM) upgrade package combined with an LM270 Light Detector Unit, both from ISS, Inc. are intended as a sole source procurement.
