CNCC 24-09 - Hefley Gym Floor Demo and Abatement

Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC) was constructed in 1962 and is located in Rangely Colorado. CNCC is seeking proposals from qualified industrial hygienists to remove the existing gym floor in the Hefley Arena and abate the vermiculite material below the surface using the necessary containment and negative air movement through a HEPA filtration system. All wood and nailing strips need to be removed from the concrete slab and the slab will be decontaminated before reconstruction. All waste will be properly disposed of per State of Colorado regulations.

•The successful consultant will attend the mandatory site meeting at CNCC, Rangely Campus to review pre-demolition/deconstruction issues, hazardous abatement;
•Provide qualifications and determine the various methods and costs to deconstruct.
•Submit for any required permitting.
•All work must be completed by May 31st, 2024.
•Qualification selection is limited to Professional Services as defined in C.R.S. 24-30-1402.
•Past experience with projects of similar scope and complexity.
•All submittals MUST include the CNCC Response Sheet and Acknowledgement and Attestation Form
