2018-013 - Data Support Services for Mobility Lab

The Aspen Mobility Lab is envisioned to provide a variety of options for ride-sharing and ride-hailing, bus, e-bikes and traditional bikes, and revitalized pedestrian zones and public spaces, and possibly autonomous vehicle field testing - all integrated through a comprehensive education effort and mobility app to motivate people and employers to adopt new behaviors. The Lab will collect quantitative and qualitative data across all transit modes deployed, all user groups included, throughout the geographic project area, and over the duration of the Lab to assess its effectiveness, its impacts, and to inform development of future policies and regulations.  A description of the plans for the Lab can be found in Attachment 1.
The City of Aspen seeks to identify interested and capable vendors to participate from April 2018 through December 2019 by providing the following suite of services:
 

• Project management assistance for the Data Group
• Design of certain data collection methodologies, and collection of that data
• Transmission of collected data to a database of the City’s choosing
• Provide data analysis support
