Description

The City of Colorado Springs (City) has recently passed an initiative to pave 200 miles of city streets in the next five (5) years. Colorado Springs Utilities (UTILITIES) recommends extending the service life of select sections of water pipeline under the City’s proposed paving projects, by installing anodes. UTILITIES is requesting CONTRACTOR to provide construction services for the installation of cathodic protection test stations and anodes at identified locations on forty-eight (48) different sections of ductile iron water mains. CONTRACTOR shall provide test stations, anodes, and all equipment necessary to install the anodes and test stations along the pipeline
