17-21430 - CDOT Anderson Office Building Remodel

Qualified General Contractors are invited to bid on the interior remodel of an existing office building and an existing weld shop in Denver, Colorado. Demolition in the office building includes demolishing the existing flooring, plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, two interior walls and two doors.  New construction includes building out two classrooms and two ADA accessible restrooms in the office building, and providing new fixtures and finishes. Work also includes testing, adjusting and balancing the existing HVAC system. The existing office building is approximately 1,000 square feet,
 
Add Alternate # 1: Work in the Weld Shop:
The weld shop is to receive a new door and a portable welding fume exhaust system.  The existing weld shop is approximately 890 square feet. Demolition in the weld shop includes demolishing one interior door.
 
This Design/Build project includes complete architectural drawings and outline specifications as part of the contract documents.  The contractor’s scope includes Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Design/Build services. Drawings and Specification are for basis of design and to set a quality standard.
 
The existing building has been tested for asbestos and lead based paint and neither are present within the area of work. An asbestos report will be provided upon request from the contractor.
