Additional Bidding Instructions

Each bid response shall be submitted on the prescribed forms supplied in the Project Manual. Each Bid shall be accompanied by an appropriate guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond made payable to the City of Aurora in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the
Bid. Original bid bonds do not have to be mailed; however, each bidder should maintain the original on file should the City request it at a later time.

Bids shall be submitted electronically, preferably in a single file PDF format, through the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System (aka BidNet) and must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. (Mountain Time) on May 6, 2024. Bids received using another method such as mail, email, or
hand delivery will not be accepted. Late bids will NOT be accepted. Bids shall be retained by the City and cannot be returned.

Bids will be read aloud thirty (30) minutes after the bid closing. This event will be held online using Microsoft Teams. Interested parties may join the event using the link provided on page 5 of the Project Manual, under part 7. Bid Submission and Opening.
