Description

The Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind (CSDB) is interested in designing and
constructing Campus Security Upgrades located at 33 North institute, Colorado Springs,
Colorado 80903. Campus Security Upgrades will be completed in two phases. Phase 1 will
cover design and fiber/network improvements to support Phase 2. Phase 2 is contingent
on future funding and will cover the installation of a surveillance system across campus (17
facilities/34 acres), improve perimeter fencing, add a second vehicle entry point, improve
exterior lighting and other security improvements as the project budget allows.

To ensure sufficient information is available to teams preparing submittals, a mandatory
pre-submittal conference has been scheduled. The intent of this conference is to tour the
site and to have the Department of Education / Colorado School for the Deaf and the
Blind staff able to discuss the project. Teams preparing submittals must attend and signin
in order to have their submittals accepted. The pre-submittal conference will be held
