RFI EFAA 2023000028 - Geothermal Energy Grant Program

On June 2nd, 2022, Governor Polis signed the Colorado Energy Office Geothermal Energy Grant Program (HB22-1381). This act allocates $12 million in grant-based financial assistance to eligible entities to facilitate the development of geothermal energy resources across Colorado. In response to HB22-1381, the Colorado Energy Office (CEO) is considering the release of a Request for Proposals (RFP) to engage a company to help the CEO develop the aforementioned grant program.  We are seeking information from the geothermal community and other potentially interested parties to help us have a better understanding of the industry to better develop an RFP.
