Mines is seeking proposals from a trademark management and licensing agency, to provide a Software platform for trademark management (Software) and assist with licensing operations, logo management, and protecting Mines marks and logos.
Mines oversees the registration and protection of numerous trademarks, logos, graphics, service marks, and the like developed by and used by Mines (the “Marks”). Over the past five (5) years, Mines has contracted with a trademark licensing agency to protect and administer license rights in certain Marks. These Marks are used in connection with Mines’s mission on various products including, but not limited to, clothing, memorabilia, glassware, educational and marketing materials, promotional items, school supplies, and athletic products. Mines has added additional Marks since the inception of the licensing program and seeks robust support for the management and licensing of Mines’s Marks.
In recent years, Mines has witnessed enrollment increases, bringing the approximate student population to 7,600 students. Furthermore, Mines is a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, in which it competes in 16 different varsity sports. Additionally, Mines offers both 19 sports at the club level and various intramural sports to all of campus. Mines expects consistent growth, both in its trademark licensing program and in its need for management and protection of its Marks.
