Colorado Mesa University seeks proposals for public art for the recreation athletic courts in the Colorado Mesa University’s (CMU) new Kinesiology Building. The funding available for the purchase, fabrication, and installation of artwork is $143,434. CMU is looking to secure the services of accomplished artisans with an extensive track record of successful projects in the region. The goal is to activate the spaces, motivate our students and reinforce the inclusive recreation environment throughout the facility.

Digital Images. In order to be considered for this project, the applicant must electronically submit digital images of prior projects. Artists may submit 3-6 images of the same artwork, in order to show various details.

Resume: Submit a current résumé that outlines professional accomplishments as an artist.

Statement of Interest: A statement of interest in 250 words or less must be submitted to CMU. It should briefly outline the artist’s interest and/or information on schedule or medium, if explanation is relevant.
