24-035 - Construction of HVAC and Kitchen Remodel at El Centro Recreation Center

In general, this project will consist of renovating the Pueblo El Centro del Quinto Sol Recreation Center as detailed in the plans and specifications for this project.  Specifically, there are three major scopes of work for this project. The first is renovating the basement space to convert it into a cooking class/event space for the public. Second is upgrading the HVAC system by installing new RTU's on the roof along with split systems and electric baseboard heaters around the building. Lastly, before any construction takes place the building must be abated. The asbestos report details the areas of the building that came back positive. The abatement will need to be coordinated so that all areas affected by the renovations are free of asbestos.
