CDBG-DR WI 17-113 - Jasper Lake River Restoration Project

The primary objective of the work proposed for the Jasper Lake project is to protect life and property, enhance riparian ecosystems, and generate long-term stream system resilience through a collaborative, watershed-based approach that incorporates the needs of diverse stakeholders. An additional goal is to complete the project as efficiently and cost effectively as possible and within the established time frames.This project proposes to construct the following improvements: 1) Construct a multi-stage channel for low and bankfull flow events and floodplain benches along approximately 2,650 linear feet (lf); 2) Install aquatic habitat features and in-stream structures throughout project limits; and 3) Revegetate the floodplain areas with native plants.
