Site improvements at 28377 Huntwood Avenue, the west end of Tennyson Park for a new 24,500 SF plaza and bioretention area; renovation and remodel of the existing community center at 28200 Ruus Road and conversion to a daycare/preschool; partial demolition of existing structures and related infrastructure and replacement with a new 17,000 SF parking lot and landscape site improvements at 680 West Tennyson Road, in Hayward, CA.

The scope of work includes but is not limited to: legal abatement of hazardous materials, removal of site structures, demolition of portions of the existing building, construction of new interior tenant improvements, replacement of existing window systems and new windows and doors as noted, new exterior improvements, and structure, mechanical, electrical plumbing and life safety improvements, and associated site work; and other work required by the project drawings and project manual.

The site at 28200 Ruus Road will be open for site visits by all interested bidders following the pre-bid conference (further visits may be coordinated directly with the City Project Manager). The purpose of the site visit is for the prospective bidders to be familiar with the existing site and conditions. Attending the pre-bid conference and site visit are not conditions of submitting a bid, but prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
