Specifications include, but are not limited to: Research Design The vendor must conduct a research study and report on findings. This project is intended to be a complete study and not a single survey with analysis, although a survey may be one tool to gather data as part of a larger design. This project should focus on school and societal structures for boy and girls in Utah, with specific emphasis on vulnerabilities and challenges boys and girls each uniquely face, how prepared they are to meet those challenges, and how schools can best support them. The emphasis is on illuminating their unique roles in society and how we best support them. Research Reporting The research findings will be reported in a field-facing report. While empirical and statistical information to justify methodology and analysis decisions bolster reliability, the report must be written and designed in a way that field-based practitioners can easily digest the provided information. Researcher(s) should prepare a visual/oral presentation (such as a PowerPoint presentation) to be delivered with the written report and may be asked to participate in a meeting presenting the findings. Written materials should be ADA compliant. The report should include an executive summary, introduction, short literature review, methods, findings, analysis, discussion, limitations, and conclusion. Other sections may be included. Specific attention should be given to address where key structural supports or vulnerabilities exist in Utah for boys and girls.
