Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. The Bidder and their employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States Act and Maryland. b. The Contractor must provide all necessary labor, tools and materials required to mow and trim around the buildings as specified to maintain a uniform appearance. c. The Contractor will assume sole responsibility for travel time for any service provided under this contract. d. All work shall be conducted in a neat and professional manner. e. The Contractor will follow the specifications in Attachment A4 Green Landscaping Services Specifications. f. The Contractor will utilize seasonal, performance-based mowing, cutting to 3” in the Spring, 4-5” in the Summer, and 4” in the Fall for all areas in the attached “Mowing Areas” during the months of May through October 2024. The estimated mowing frequency is once a week from May- September 30 and every other week October 1-October 31 with mowing services anticipated to end October 31, 2024. The Contractor will ensure that an area is not mowed if the grass is not above the designated length above and that an area will not remain above the applicable length for more than five (5) days. g. Landscaping services shall be performed as needed in areas as designated by the Contract Monitor or designee and includes the following: I. Edging curbs II. Edging sidewalks III. Pruning shrubs and hedges following specifications in Attachment A4 Green Landscaping Services Specifications. IV. Weed eating h. The equipment used by the Contractor’s team in landscaping for pruning, edging, weed eating and trimming must include at least the following: I. 2 weed whackers II. 2 blowers III. 2 gas powered hedge trimmers IV. 2 hand-held pruners V. 2 loping shears i. The equipment used by the Contractor’s team in mowing, trimming, mechanical edging and cleaning areas upon completion must include at least the following: I. 2 “60” inch lawn mowers II. 2 mechanical edger’s III. 2 weed whackers IV. 2 blowers j. SGHC reserves the right to inspect all the Bidder’s equipment required for performing this contract prior to award. The Bidder must provide a list of grounds maintenance equipment within one (1) business day upon request by the Procurement Officer, to include but not limited to, riding mowers and items listed in 3.2.1.g and h. The list must include make, model and year, and count of each item required to perform the contract work.
