Specifications include, but are not limited to: Mobile Patrols and Alarm Response - Monday thru Friday from 7PM to 7AM and Saturday and Sunday - 24 hours/day: Unarmed security officers in a marked security vehicle will perform random and directed patrols of District facilities as well as immediate alarm response during nighttime and/or weekend and/or holiday hours. Mobile Campus Patrols - School days at Plano East, Plano Senior and Plano West Senior Highs from 8:30AM to 4:30PM: Unarmed security officers in a marked security vehicle will provide mobile and/or foot patrol of assigned campus parking lots during or after school hours. As Needed Security Services - As requested by District - unable to determine hours/schedule: Unarmed security officers to work designated posts on an as needed or short-term basis. Mobile Patrols and Alarm Response Random and/or directed mobile patrols to provide surveillance of District properties, checking for signs of criminal activity or unsecured buildings, and providing a visible deterrent to crime or unauthorized activities involving District properties Immediate response to alarms at District properties Prompt notification to local jurisdiction police department of criminal activity affecting District property Opening, closing, arming and disarming of alarm systems at District properties when directed Responding to District properties as an emergency key-holder as directed Act as an authorized representative of the District for limited purposes specified in writing by the District (e.g. requesting police reports, towing cars, issuing criminal trespass warnings). Notifying on-call and other District personnel as needed Complete activity logs and/or incident reports for all alarm responses and other incidents as directed Sticker abandoned and/or unauthorized vehicles parked on District properties Check for safety and fire hazards at District properties and report such hazards to the appropriate authority immediately Check exterior building doors to ensure all are locked and secured Remain within geographic boundaries of the District at all times and be available for contact by cell phone or radio at all times. Remain on District properties except when in transit between properties Follow check-in and check-out procedures as designated by the District Mobile Campus Patrol Provide mobile and foot patrol of one or more high school parking lots, continuously monitoring for suspicious activity, unauthorized persons and persons needing emergency assistance Sticker unauthorized, improperly parked or abandoned vehicles Report suspicious circumstances, suspicious persons, safety hazards and damage to campus administrator, school resource officer or other person(s) designated by the District. Complete activity logs and/or incident reports as directed Follow check-in and check-out procedures as designated by the District. Remain at assigned campus and available for contact at all times
